Katharine Wilcox, President and Head of Executive Search, Resource Mosaic
Katharine Wilcox is President and Head of Executive Search at Resource Mosaic, an Atlanta-based boutique focused on accounting and finance leadership. She places finance leaders from Director through CFO at companies across the Southeast, including private equity-backed platforms, founder-led businesses, and public companies, and handles select leadership searches outside finance, including HR, operations, legal, and sales.
She has spent over twenty years in accounting and finance search, the first six at Lucas Group, where she was a Senior Partner, before joining Resource Mosaic in 2011. She became President in 2022 and now owns the firm. Her work starts with a read of the situation before the job description: what stage the company is in, what the board or owners expect, and what the current team can and cannot carry. She is direct with clients about what a role actually requires and what the market will bear, whether that means the compensation, the title, or the profile itself, including when it isn't the role they thought they were hiring for.
Katharine also serves on the Board of the Atlanta Beltline Partnership. She grew up in San Diego, graduated from UCLA with a degree in communication studies, and spends most of her time off trying to keep up with her 9-year-old twins.
