John is a Chicago native and Graduate of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign who went on to Chicago-Kent College of Law, earning his law degree in 1999.
Co-Founder of the law firm Keefe, Campbell, Biery & Associates in 2003, John continues to work as a managing partner and litigation attorney, defending Workers’ Compensation claims for insurance carriers and employers, including a number of staffing companies.
He has served as a professor of Workers’ Compensation Law at The John Marshall Law School and lectures regularly at insurance conferences and for the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, providing continuing legal education and certification services.
