Patrick Morin is a partner with Transact Capital Securities, a Richmond, Virginia-based investment banking firm that specializes in mergers and acquisitions of privately-owned companies with enterprise values up to $250MM. He was also one of the founding partners of BrightHammer, LLC., a global consultancy engaged by private equity groups, boards of directors, and CEOs to improve the performance of their invested companies. Prior to his current engagement, he was seven years as Senior Vice President with Cornerstone Realty Income Trust, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange-traded company that owned and operated over 24,000 apartments.

Before joining Cornerstone, Mr. Morin was with Dale Carnegie Training for five years and was an instructor for almost two decades. He was certified to lead all Dale Carnegie programs, but specialized in The Sales Advantage, Leadership Training for Managers, and High Impact Presentations. He was ranked among the top instructors globally and was a member of the elite Global Delivery Team.

While a member of the National Speakers Association, he personally conducted thousands of keynotes and training meetings for businesses, associations, government agencies and community groups. Notable groups he’s addressed include: NASA, The National Independent Staffing Association, Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services, New Jersey Staffing Association, The National Apartment Association, McDonald’s, and Massachusetts Staffing Association.

Mr. Morin appears on television, radio, and in print as an authority in his field and wrote a weekly column on sales for the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal and www.lendio.com. He serves on the boards of several local charities including the YMCA and the Franks Foundation. Patrick makes his home in Richmond, Virginia and in chairlifts of ski resorts around the country.

Toby Malara directs ASA's government relations, lobbying, and political activities, including the operations of the associations' political action committee, StaffingPAC. He also advises members on immigration/I-9, paid sick leave, sales tax, and per diem issues. He graduated from Georgetown University and earned a J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University.

Jason Turner is the Chief Investment Strategist of Great Lakes Advisors. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee, authors market and economic commentary, regularly presents in the media and to professional conferences, and works with client portfolio managers to support institutional and private clients. As the Head of Multi-Asset Strategy, he is responsible for portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and for overseeing the firm’s manager due diligence and selection efforts. He is also a member of the firm’s Operating Committee and Management Committee.

Prior to joining Great Lakes in 2009, Jason served in various roles for Skyline Asset Management and Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting.
