Last year, this event was a rooftop Chicago Cubs game. 100 tickets were sold. There will be a similar type of event this year. The Member Appreciation event is meant to be a social gathering, giving sponsors and other guests a very casual atmosphere to mingle and get to know one another.

Owners Retreat/Symposium (Late September 2017)

In 2016, the Owner’s Symposium was a full 1 day conference with topics catered to staffing and recruiting firm owners and executives. The Symposium was held at the Career Builder Headquarters and had 70 patrons in attendance. The event included all meals. Sponsors can take advantage of the targeted audience by having a well-designed opportunity to showcase their offerings. Competitive companies of sponsors are not allowed to attend the event.

Client Panel – December 7, 2017

The client panel is always one of our best events. The event is a late afternoon, into the evening event that includes a high profile panel of contingent labor/direct hire buyers from well-known organizations. The panelists get a chance to tell the audience about their experiences with vendors and expound on the dos and don’ts of placing talent into top global organizations. The audience also has a chance to ask questions to the panel in this open and communicative setting. The attendance for this event has ranged from 50-80 people. We are planning for an increase in attendance this year. Dinner, drinks and networking are included.

Pinnacle Panel – November 2017

The Pinnacle panel is a lively, Q&A session with three Pinnacle members where the audience will hear their perspective on thriving and surviving in the recruiting business. The attendance for this event has ranged from 25-40 people. Appetizers and drinks are included.

Young Professionals – 2 events, March and October

In 2016, ISSA created a new committee targeted at young professionals in the recruiting and staffing industry. The charter of this committee is to attract, educate and network with young staffing and recruiting professionals within the Chicagoland area. ISSA has held 2 previous events for the young professionals group and the attendance ranged from 30-40 individuals. As this committee continues to grow, we expect the attendance to increase for these events. For 2017, the planned events will include education and social activities. The specifics for these events will soon be determined.
