March Staffing Madness – Recap of Young Professionals Event
The first ISSA Young Professionals event of the year, “March Staffing Madness”, was held on March 27th at 25 West Brewing Co, in Bloomingdale, IL. The event featured a panel of staffing and recruiting experts answering a lively Q&A, in which our pro panelists shared real life experiences and tips for professional growth and success in the staffing industry.
The panel dream team included: Brian Brooke, Managing Director at Advanced Resources, Zenja Glass, President and CEO at Unlocking Greatness Staffing, and Lance Snider, Vice President at The Plus Group. Combined, this group had several decades of staffing and recruiting experience to share with those starting out in the industry.
Tiffany Pugliese, Client Success Manager at Automated Business Designs, served as moderator for the Q&A session. The panelists had a whole lot of tips for success in the staffing business, which the audience eagerly absorbed. Attendees also had a chance to ask their own questions, and in return they received sound advice from the pros.
Following the panel discussion, it was time for talking shop at the table. Our staffing pros joined the attendees for some great conversations and fun. Hearty appetizers came out, and the brewery had a chance to show off a selection of what they do best (beer)!
